roberta jezierski
Roberta Jezierski, 86, of Weirton, passed away September 23, 2007 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born May 5, 1921 in Paden City, WV, the daughter of the late Justice and Blanche McCaskey. Her husband Theodore Jezierski, sons David and Jeffrey Jezierski and daughter Amy Lang, brothers Justus and James McCaskey, and sisters Helen Jones and Betty Ellison also preceded her in death. Roberta was a homemaker and a member of the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church, a 50 year member of the Weirton Chapter 147 Order of the Eastern Star, the Weirton Women’s Club and the AREME Card Club. Roberta is survived by her grandchildren Jessica Barth and her husband Charlie, J. T. Jezierski and his wife Crystal, Candace Nieves and Casey Lang. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. Eastern Star services will be Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM in the funeral home. She will lie in state Thursday from 10 – 11 AM, the time of the services at the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV.
