Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My husband George and I met Ronnie several years ago when we went on those bus tours to New York city. We went every year and then I would recommended his tours to others here in Wheeling. Ronnie was a very special man who loved people. He had such an inspiring enthusiasm for life. We loved his sense of humor. He also went above and beyond when driving to New York. One time, in NYC, Ronnie gave me the phone number of a “purse dealer” in the city. He said all I needed to say was. “Ronnie the bus driver told me to call you”. Later that day I had my designer bag, the perfect purse! It was so much fun and great memories of our trips with Ronnie. May he have eternal peace. ❤️🙏

  2. Ron and I were friends and band mates for 63 years. His passing was especially sad for me. My condolences are extended to Sandra and her family at this very sad time.

  3. We met Ron and Sandi at a dance several years ago when they were in Florida for the winter. We immediately enjoyed their company and spent time with them when they came down. Ron was so genuinely nice and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our deepest sympathies are with his family as they deal with their loss. Mack and Jan Toles

  4. Sandra, sorry I didn’t make it to the funeral. Had unexpected company at 10:am. It was sure nice seeing you the other day and wish I had gone to the car and spoke to Ron. If there is anything I can help you with, please call me. Jim and Donna Doak
