Rose Grieco

Rose Grieco of Weirton passed away at the Weirton Medical Center with her loving family by her side on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was 78 years old. She was born in Hopedale, OH. on September 15, 1943, a daughter of the late Dan and Mildred Chovich Enich. Rose was Serbian Orthodox by faith, a graduate of Weir High School, and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 688, she retired from Kroger’s from their customer service department with over twenty years of service. Rose was a true Serb. Her strong willingness to live and to make her opinions known is what everyone loved about her, she was a true fighter. Her family absolutely loved whatever came out of her kitchen. Her sons said, “she made the best cabbage rolls, as a matter of fact, she made the best everything!” In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Village and brother Nick Enich Sr. Left to cherish Rose’s memory with admiration and love are her sons, Joseph Frank (Marlene) Grieco and Mark Edward Grieco all of Weirton, sisters Helen Kemeliotis of Wintersville, Mildred Petit of Weirton, Daisy Sheposh of Port St. Lucie, FL. and Violet Nawrocki of Greenwood, IN. grandchildren Jennifer, Maria, Alexis, and Bryce and great-grandchildren Sofia and Olivia, and many nieces and nephews.
