  1. Janet My deepest condolences to you. You were so good to your Mom, I know that your heart is broken, but she is resting in peace now. I remember how cute she was when I’d come to trim her hair…she loved you very much for all you did for her. Bless you and take care! Liz

  2. Janet, I was deeply saddened to learn about your Mom’s passing. I loved her dearly and she remains a significant part of cherished memories of growing up on Heights Street. She was the epitome of kindness, thoughtfulness, and gentleness of spirit, with a work ethic that is beyond compare. I appreciated her fun-loving nature and,if it weren’t for your Mom, I’d never know the joys of swimming at Marland Heights with the two of you and the fun to be had playing in King’s Creek. Then there was her cooking – the fabulous flavors of her wedding soup, homemade banana bread, and bread right out of the oven with butter melting through each light textured slice. And her homemade noodles – incredible! She was more than a neighbor or friend – she was family. My heartfelt condolences to you. She will be sorely missed. All my love, Barb
