Rosemary Williams, 86 of Weirton died September 14, 2002 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1916 in Uniontown, Pa, the daughter of the late Elias and Mary Fayah Francis Zahron. Her husband Richard (Harper) Williams Sr., brothers, Paul, Raymond, Francis, James and George Zahron, and sisters, Mary, Janelle, Vickie and Jamal also preceded her. Rosemary was a beloved mother, grandmother, and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, and the Christian Mothers of St. Paul’s. She is survived by one son Richard H. Williams Jr. and wife Jackie of Dayton, OH, three daughters, Barbara Williams-Balint and husband Gary of Weirton, Deborah Williams and husband Rob Millar of Toronto, Ontario, and Betty Jean Williams of Coraopolis, Pa. She has two stepsons Robert R. Williams and wife Mary Lou of Weirton and Donald C. Williams and wife Kathryn of Bergholz, OH. . Rosemary has four grandchildren, Jamelle Williams-Millar, Jeremy Millar, Stephanie Williams and Richard H. Williams III. She has eleven step grandchildren and 23 step great grandchildren. She has one brother Michael Zahron of Uniontown, Pa. A special nephew Sean Brown of Toledo, OH, and 24 other nieces and nephews also survive her. Rose was an avid sports fan of baseball and football and never forgot anyone’s birthday. Mom cared dearly for animals and the people around her. She will be greatly missed by her family, neighbors and dear friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2002, from 1-4 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV, where a rosary will be recited at 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be Wednesday at 1:30 PM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Weirton. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.     Just thinking of you, Mom. Wishing you were here and remembering wonderful times past. Thanks for your care and protection for all those years, especially after Dad died. You rose to the challenge and raised us well despite the circumstances. You did an amazing job.
