Rosina “Nana” (Pulice) Arlia, 91, of Weirton, WV, made it to heaven on Saturday September 15, 2018. Rosina was born on September 14, 1927, in Belmonte Calabria, Italy, a daughter of the late Antonio and Francesca (Bonavita) Pulice. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fedele Arlia; her daughter, Barbara (Arlia) Hatala; brother, Gianni Pulice and sister, Elvira Veltri. Rosina flew to America, in 1954, with her infant son, Benny to join her husband Fedele, and to become a proud U.S. Citizen. Rosina was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, singing, listening to music, cooking, and most of all babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered with love by her son, Benny Arlia; her daughter, Diane (Arlia) Rockwell and her husband Steve; Grandson, Christopher and his wife, Maegan Hatala; granddaughters, Courtney (Hatala) and her husband, Craig Sperlazza , and Rosina Arlia – Rockwell; her great grandchildren, Henrik, Analei, and Fredrik Sperlazza and Christian Hatala; her brothers and sisters, Elena, Emilia, Maria, Albert, and Mario Pulice; numerous nieces, and nephews. Nana will be sorely missed, but she left us some wonderful memories of the best mom there ever was. Visitation will 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.
