  1. To Stephanie’s family: I wish to extend my deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers. Believe it or not, the other day I thought of your Mrs. Kostur for a specific reason. I shall try to be brief. As a child I did not like tomatoes. When I was in second or third grade a group of Christian Mothers from SHM traveled to Chester to pray the Rosary during the viewing of the priest of the parish who was lying in state. For some reason my mother had me travel along. Well, on the way, we stopped somewhere for lunch. Mrs. Kostur told me that she would buy me a cheese-burger at this Mom & Pop place. Well, I didn’t want to insult her generosity and the order was placed “with the works.” Of course, there was a generous slice of tomato on the burger. I ate it and discovered this new taste treat. Well, the other day I had a burger with a slice of tomato and your mother came to mind — what a generous treat she was to so many people in her life. God is certianly happy to have her in Heaven to reward her for all the goodness of her life with us. She will be remembered and missed. Sincerely, Stas Tuchalski

  2. Stanley and Mary, Sorry to hear of your loss of your sister. It has been a tough year for the Sagan family. The Sagans are very special to me. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Jerry Hamill

  3. A beloved neighbor for all those years growing up on Palisades Dr. as well as the cottage on the Chesapeake Bay. Her life is a testiment for how to conduct oneself and a beacon for all of us to aspire.

  4. To the Kostur/Sagan Families: We send along our love and deepest sympathy in remembrance of Mrs. Stephanie Kostur. I will always remember my Mom & Dad (Marie & Frank Rybka) being very close friends with Steph and Joe. Even as a child I really looked up to their family as one to be deeply admired. Stephanie will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all the folks at Sacred Heart of Mary Church. I pray that Steph and Joe will pick up where they left off enjoying the “good old days” with my parents in Heaven. Love, Rosemarie (Rybka) & Harry Givens
