Theodore "Ted" B. Druzik, 88, of Weirton died Tuesday June 30, 2015, at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Born on August 17, 1926, in Weirton, WV, Ted was a son of the late Joseph Druzik and Frances Wasilewski Baranowski Druzik. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ida Jean Kincaid Druzik on September 14, 2000; his five brothers, Bennie, Chester, and Edward Baranowski, and Walter, and Stanley Druzik; a sister, Sophia Mazurowski Bindas; and a nephew, Richard Baranowski. A Navy veteran of World War II, Ted retired after 32 years of service at Weirton Steel, where he was Foreman of the Construction Riggers. He also worked at Barkhurst Construction for 10 years. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club; Knights of Columbus 3734; and a former member of Sacred Heart of Mary Parish in Weirton. He will always be remembered for his talented woodworking craftsmanship. His beautiful furniture will be cherished for years to come. He is survived by his beloved nieces, Betty Billie, Rita Mathsen, Sophie Wypasek, Irene Zdinak, and Loretta Huggins. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, July 6, 2015, at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday. Rev. Eric Mathsen will preside. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, OH, with the United States Navy and the American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard conducting Military Honors.   2. R.I.P. Uncle Ted. You and aunt Ida Jean were always good to me. I’m glad I got to see you a few times just a couple of years ago when I would go to my doctor over there by your house. You grieved sooo hard over Aunt Ida Jean and now you are together. Give her a hug for me too. My hope is that your passing may be a reminder to bring others close to the lord.
