Thema Louise Heaton

Thelma Louise Heaton, 92, of Weirton died Wednesday November 21, 2012, at the Weirton Medical Center. Born on January 18, 1920, in Cleveland, OH, Thelma was a daughter of the late Louis August and Mary Louise Bowers Baumgard. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald L. Heaton who was killed while operating a side trimmer in Weirton Steel in 1993 and a brother Robert Baumgard. Thelma was a homemaker who enjoyed being a member of the Wellsburg Women of the Moose, Social Order of Beauceant, the College of Regents, and the AARP. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Howard W. Heaton; a son, Dewayne Heaton and a sister, Dorothy Reardon all of Weirton, WV; a granddaughter, Amy Heaton and two great grandchildren. Funeral Services are private. Entombment will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
