Thomas Allen Knox

Thomas (Tom) Knox, age 76, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Stonerise Wellsburg, formerly known as Valley Haven. He was born March 3, 1945, at Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, OH. He was the grandson of Thomas Mulheran and Winifred Rebecca Holmes Mulheran. He was employed by Weirton Steel for 40 years before retiring. He was an avid reader and very proud of the fact that he was issued the 79th child's library card in the history of Mary H. Weir Library in Weirton. Survivors include his loving wife, Maida Knox, with whom he just celebrated his 40th wedding anniversary, step-daughter Maureen Exler whom he loved very much as his own, step-son Russell Slonim (Stacey) and 2 grandsons Yehuda and Binyamin whom he loved very much, a loving half-brother Richard Hall (Deborah) and 2 dogs Snowy and Hope. Tom’s request for cremation has been honored. No services are planned at this time.
