Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Uncle Cooch and Loving family of Marion, What a joy it has been knowing your mother. She will forever be a breath of fresh air and bring joy to me in all her memories. She was like our mom next store growing up on Thurman Street. Always happy and willing to help in any way she could. I was so happy to hear my Uncle Cooch was her loving companion and new he was happy having her near. Marion I am sure your bringing joy to all those who have passed before us. For me there is little doubt my mother met you and your having the best reunion right now. I will always love the feeling you bring to me when I think of you. Uncle Cooch I am so sorry for your loss I know Marion was your light, your star. Rest assured any goodness and joy you feel it will be Marion walking along side you as well as all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. May you all feel God’s angels lifting you up during this loss. God’s Blessings, Dody and Vince

  2. To Uncle Cooch and all of Marions Children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, I loved her! She was a SPECIAL lady to all that she met.I remember every good time that we have ever shared. From the time that I was little until now. Marion your laughter will not only ring in my ears for the rest of my life. It will ring in everyones ears that have ever met you. You are a one of a kind woman. Your strength and character will stay with us all. Teaching us how to make lemonade, when life throws us lemons. Thank you for being that great example of a woman trusting God for everything in her life. Now you may rest in peace with your creator. To those of us left behind. Remember the promise the Bible says to those that love the Lord.: Over me is the blood of the Lamb! The Lord goes before me. JESUS IS IN ME! He has given His Angels charge over me. The Angel of the Lord encamps arround me. Underneath me are the everlasting arms of God and goodness and mercy shall follow me all of the days of my life. Hallelujah! Fear has no place in my life.—– God has you completely surrounded by His love and protection. Find PEACE in His arms. I wish I could be there to give all of you a tender hug and a warm kiss. Marion loved the story of “crossing me over” since I was too young to cross the street by myself. I never got tired of hearing her yell “Cross me over, Cross me over” everytime I heard the story. I’ll miss you! Love Charlie

  5. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Having just been through this type of loss, I am deeply saddened. But let us know and smile that somewhere in heaven there is a celebration beginning with the reunion of Marion, Linda C., and my mother Verla, and those others who have gone on. I will always remember the fond memories of growing up on Swearingen Hill. All of you are in my continued prayers.

  16. Dear Cooch, Jodi, Bobby, Andy & Jeff: I can’t begin to tell you all the great memories I have of Marion from the times we used to go out together to sitting on your porch in the evenings. She was a very special person and a good friend with a smile and joke for everyone she met. One of the things she was most proud of about your family was that she said you always stuck together and were there for each other no matter what.
