velma endrich
Velma Beatrice Endrich, 96, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in the Inn at Wyngate. Born April 15, 1917, in Bridgeport, CT, she was a daughter of the late William and Ellen Hedine Martin. She was also preceded in death by her husband George A. Endrich in October, 1991; a brother, William "Jim" Martin; a sister, Joan Zaleta and a grandson Patrick. Mrs. Endrich was a homemaker and a former member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Syracuse, NY. She also was a former volunteer at the Community General Hospital, Syracuse, NY. Mrs. Endrich is survived by her sons Dr. Joseph Endrich and his wife Jane of Weirton and Thomas Endrich and his wife Liz of Chippenham, England; daughters Joanne Blaha of New York and Judy Hartigan and her husband Rick of Vale, Arizona; a brother, Kenneth Martin of Seattle, WA; a sister, Jean Brelsford of Charlton, MA; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Private family funeral services will be held. Interment will be in Florida Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Weirton Medical Center Foundation, 601 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062.

Her beautiful smile lit up the room, and she was grace personified, a lovely lady. I met her at The Wyngate as I visited my mother there, she was such a sweetheart. My mom was at Wyngate, and every time I went to see her, your mom would come over to see us both. She even came to the funeral home when my mom passed away last October. She ALWAYS had a BIG smile on her face.She was a dear,sweet lady. GOD BLESS HER !!!

  7. Dear Family I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I prayed the rosary every Thursday and she was always faithfully with us other then the days she was not feeling well. She was always dressed so beautifully. I am going to miss her for she was an inspiration for me.She was such an elegant woman with much class.I shall always remember her beautiful smile.
