William H. Avery, II
August 31, 1946 ~ November 12, 2013
William H. Avery, II, 67, of Weirton, formerly of Texas, passed away November 12, 2013 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born August 31, 1946 in San Diego, CA, he was the son of the late Harry and Justen Avery. He was also preceded in death by his sister Laura Avery.
With a degree in Criminal Justice, William retired from police service in Texas. He was an active member of the Hancock County Republican Party Commission.
Mr. Avery is survived by his son Troy B. Avery, with whom he made his home in Weirton; daughter Amy L. Avery of St. Louis, MO and sisters Sarah Lynn Mumford of Weirton and Connie Schmidt of Albany, GA.
In keeping with Mr. Avery's wishes, there will be no visitation. His cremated remains will be taken home to San Diego, CA.

Rest now in the arms of our Lord your work on earth is done. I thank you for your service and my Freedom. You will not be forgotten.
