Agnes DiBacco, 85, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, September 03, 2008 at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit in Steubenville, Ohio. Born February 20, 1923 in Bertha Mine, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Mikula Fuller. Mrs. DiBacco was also preceded in death by her husband John DiBacco, infant son Patrick, brothers Joe, Johnny, and Frank Fuller; her sisters, Mary and Katie Fuller. Mrs. DiBacco was a homemaker, a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She served as President of the Ladies Auxilary of the Little League Association. Agnes was instrumental in the development and building of the Weirton Baseball Association in Kings Creek. For many years, Agnes was very active in the Edgewood School PTA where she served as Past President. Agnes is survived by her sons John DiBacco and his wife Tina of Steubenville, OH, Jerry DiBacco and his wife Robin of Follansbee, WV, Tony DiBacco and his wife Mary Alice, Edmund and his wife Donna, Terry and his wife Tracy all of Weirton; daughters Faith Semple and her husband Tom of Toronto, OH, Bebe Buksa and her husband Benny of Weirton, Edie June Wilson and her husband Kelly of Weirton, with whom she made her home; brothers Steve Fuller of Penn Hills, PA and Emil Fuller of Westport, MA; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to her angels, Laura Long of Catholic Charities, and the staff of Valley Hospice. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Father Tony Thurston will preside. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.   5. Dear Cousins, Although Aunt Aggie is in a much more beautiful place, please know that we share in your sadness and loss and that we send you our most heartfelt sympathy. She loved her family deeply, and this included her extended family as well. Since I can remember, she has always remembered my parents’ birthdays right up until my mom’s this year! When we heard of her passing, my mother began to cry and said “I can’t look forward to Aggie’s cards anymore.” She was a very caring and special person, and we will miss her.
