Alma E. Blake, 87, of Weirton passed away Sunday, January10, 2010, at the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH. Alma was born on July 20, 1922, a daughter of the late Carl and Thelma Craft Wright. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dallas E. Blake on June 9, 1997. Alma was a member of the Weirton First Church of the Nazarene, where she played piano and taught Sunday School for many years. Alma is survived by her son, Gary Blake of Newell, WV; her daughter, Jackie (Jim) Brandolino of Weirton, WV; two sisters, Marge Melott of Weirton, and Betty Reed of Colliers, WV; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, at the Greco - Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV Additional visitation will be 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM Wednesday, at the Weirton First Church of the Nazarene 475 Colliers Way Weirton, WV. Minister Larry Barkley will preside. Interment will follow at New Cumberland Cemetery.
