Amelia C. Lauerman, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2010 with her family at her side. She was born on September 25, 1929 in Bridgeville, PA, the daughter of the late Walter J. and Theresa (Ewasky) Larch, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ralph F. Lauerman, Sr. on August 14, 1991 and her brother, William A Larch, Sr. Amelia was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, WV. She was a friend to all and an example to many. She will live always in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her two sons, Ralph F. Lauerman, Jr. and his wife Gail of Charleston, WV, and Phillip Lauerman and his wife Janet of South Charleston, WV; her three daughters, Gloria Politi of Sissonville, WV, Eleanor Walker and her husband Thomas of Bethlehem, WV, and Marian (Fegal) McArtor and her husband Ron of Greenfield, IN; her brother, Walter J. Larch, Jr. of Weirton, WV; her sister, Mildred Yurko of Weirton, WV; 10 grandchildren; 11great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8PM Sunday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held 10:00AM Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, with Rev. Fr. Larry W. Dorsch as celebrant. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.   11. Phil and the Lauerman Family, I’m so sorry to read of Millie’s passing. She was a special lady who always made us feel comfortable when we had our Board of Directors meetings for the Weirton Steelers Football. There is no doubt in my mind that she will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Just know that you are all in my prayers.
