Anna Mae Poulos

Anna Mae Poulos, 89, of Colliers, WV, passed away on her birthday, May 1, 2016, at Woodland Hills, Weirton. Born May 1, 1927 in Steubenville, OH, she was a daughter of the late Lawson M. and Margaret F. (Kuhns) Watt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John S. Poulos; son, Nicholas S. Poulos; brother, Lawson M. Watt; sister, Lucy J. Donahue; and her faithful and beloved dog, Maggie.
Anna retired from WSX after 31 years of service in sales. She was a member the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, WSX 25 year club, a Lifetime Member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary Post 2716, and was an avid golfer.
Anna is survived by her granddaughter, Shannon L. Hernandez and her husband Armando, along with Anna's great grandson, Kaden Blake Hernandez, all of Los Angeles, CA; nephew, Michael Donahue and his wife Carol of NC; and daughter-in-law, Donna Scott and her husband Rick of Weirton.
Friends will be received Friday, May 6, 2016 from 9-11AM at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 3528 West Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held at 11AM with Rev. Fr. Frank A. Milanese officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
So sorry to hear of Ann’s passing, she was such a good person and hard worker. She was a wonderful friend and caretaker to my Aunt Audrey. My mom and aunts were saddened by the news also. May she be at peace.
