Antoinetta “Ann” White, of Weirton, passed away Friday, February 02, 2007 at the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio. Born August 10, 1932 in Follansbee, WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucia Gallo Consalvo. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mrs. Frank (Catherine) Vagnozzi, Mrs. Hugo (Mary) Broccollini, Mrs.William (Jilda) Venditti, Mrs. Rocco (Josephine) D’Amico; brothers, Nicholas and Bill Consalvo. Ann was a homemaker and, from 1950-1959, worked as a telephone operator for the C&P Telephone Company. During the late 70’s and early 1980’s, she worked for Dr. Anetakis and Dr. Ard, as a dental assistant. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Christian Mothers. Ann enjoyed crocheting, collecting recipes, and baking cookies for family and friends. For five years she volunteered her time as a 4- H leader in Weirton. In later years, Ann’s greatest joy was spending time with her two grandchildren. Ann’s survivors include her husband Norman R. White, Sr., whom she married June 18, 1954; son Norman R. White, Jr. and his wife Carla all of Weirton; daughter Linda White of St. Petersburg, FL; brother Philllip Consalvo and his wife Betty of Follansbee and two grandchildren Lucia White who is attending the Air Force Academy and Stephen White of Weirton, WV.. The family will receive friends Saturday 6-8pm and Sunday 1-3pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10am Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Weirton.   5. Norman Sr., Linda, Norman, Carla, Dave Decker telephoned me minutes ago and shared the sad news of Ann’s passing. She was a very special lady from a special family. I am proud to have known the White family for over 35 years and I grieve with you. Rest in peace Ann.

  8. Norm,Linda,Norman,Carla,Lucie,& Stephen,her brother Phillip and wife Betty : I didn’t realize that I could still sign the guest book. I do miss ‘Ann” very much. She was my best friend. I was so glad I was able to come to the funeral. I think that has helped me a lot. She was a great and loving person. We all know she is in the hands of the Lord, who will take care of her as she awaits to be reunited with all her loved ones. I know he will help you thru this time of adjustment, AND IT WILL TAKE TIME. Give him a chance. Just remember all the wonderful times that were had by all.
