barbara neff

Barbara Sue Neff, 64, of Weirton, WV, passed away peacefully at her home on October 14, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family.
Born on December 20, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Hayward and Rita Lutes Sigley. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery Sigley, and her sister, Roberta Trahern.

On October 12, 1984, Barbara married the love of her life, Donald Everett Neff, I, at Mercy Baptist Church, in the first wedding ceremony officiated by Pastor Rhodes. Together, they built a life filled with love, joy, and adventure, raising five children and welcoming nine precious grandchildren into their hearts.

Barbara worked as a chiropractor’s assistant with Dr. Doug McPhearson, where she was known for her dedication and compassion, always going above and beyond for both her patients and co-workers.

Barbara will be remembered most for her deep love for nature and her passion for feeding and watching the birds. She had an undeniable warmth, which extended beyond her family, touching the lives of everyone she encountered. Her kindness and selfless spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her, especially her husband, children, and grandchildren, whom she adored.

Barbara’s memory will forever be cherished, and her love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she left behind including her husband, Donald, and her children: Daniel Neff, Donald E. Neff II (Amanda), Dustin Neff, and Ezekial Neff. She also leaves behind her cherished daughter, Seneca (Brandon) Smith. Barbara was a devoted grandmother to Aaiyah, Issac, Sadie, Korrine Neff, and Sierra; Blaze Kelleher; and Serenity and Syriauna Smith. Barbara is also survived by her sisters: Beverly Gordon, Becky Young, Kimmy (Terry) Bills, and Judy (Stephen) Strothers.
