Betty Jo Nicosia, 46, of Weirton passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at her residence. Born February 26, 1969 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of Clifford Hanle and the late Charlotte Hanle. She was also preceded in death by one sister. Betty Jo worked as a homemaker taking care of her husband and four sons. She was a member of Weirton Covenant and Restoration Church, Weir High Band Boosters and was a beautiful gospel singer. She lived her life for the praise and glory of Jesus Christ her lord and savior. Mrs. Nicosia is survived by her husband Anthony "Tony" Nicosia whom she married on May 6, 1987, her father Clifford Hanle, her four sons, Gary-David, Aaron-Paul, Anthony-Judah and Michael-Joseph, all at home, and two brothers. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, and on Tuesday from 1 until the time of Funeral Services at 2 PM. Pastor Gary C. Lilly will officiate. Interment will take place at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA Funeral Home: Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV US 26062

  6. My dearest Betty Jo, I need you to know what a special person you were in my life. You were always funny and silly and so fun to be around. I loved laughing with you. But we went through some sad times too. I remember being with you when Job was born, I also remember you being with me for Mom. I’m sorry we let so many years go by without contact, but was so glad to get back in touch with Facebook. I will miss all you beautiful posts, and all the sweet things you would say to me. You were always an encourager. Sweetheart, enjoy your beautiful time with Jesus and all of the other saints. Remember to hug my mom for me. I love you and will miss you my beautiful BJ!
