
Betty L. Cutone
May 10, 1930 ~ July 17, 2005
Betty L. Cutone, 75, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Born May 10, 1930 in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Joe Steffik and Velma Ellis Steffik Lassan. Betty was also preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Kosar and her husband John Kosar and step-father Albert Lassan.
With over 25 years of service, Betty retired from WesBanco formerly the Peoples Bank and the Bank of Weirton. She was a member of the Cove Presbyterian Church in Weirton and was an avid supporter of the Hancock County Animal Shelter.
Betty’s survivors include her son Terry Barone and his family, daughter-in-law Marlene Moudy Barone of Torrance, CA; granddaughter Chloe Barone and grandson Grady Heiberg; daughter Nikki Barone and her family, son-in-law Bill Druckman of Charleston, WV and granddaughter Emily Druckman; sister Shirley DeLuca of Weirton; one niece and several nephews.
Friends will be received 7-9PM Wednesday evening at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Thursday with Reverend Michael Lenno presiding. Interment will be in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Animal Shelter, R. D. #1, Box 425, New Cumberland, WV 26047.

Shirley, Eddie Jones and I were very saddened to learn of her passing. It was upsetting that we were out of town. I sure had alot of fun talking and swimming with her over the years. Marland Heights is very sad place for me now.
