Brenda Dailey Bernola

Brenda Dailey Bernola, 54, of Weirton formerly of Nitro, passed away suddenly in the arms of her husband on January 23, 2016. Born on October 17, 1961, in Charleston, WV, Brenda was a daughter of the late Delbert "Jeep" and Alice Jane Pauley Dailey. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lacey Ann Marie Whittington; and her sister, Debbie Horton. Brenda was the Assistant Manager at the Marathon Gas Station on Main Street, Weirton. She was formerly employed at the Moose Lodge in Charleston, WV and her family's business Friendly's Bar in Nitro, WV. Brenda enjoyed being around friends and family. Her favorite pastimes included camping and fishing. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 688. She is survived by her husband and best friend, John Michael "Mike" Bernola of Weirton, WV; her three sisters, Gale Johnson (Alfred) of Charleston, WV, Kittie Tinsley (Dennis) of Given, WV and Terri Bailey of Wilmington, NC. Visitation will be held Friday from 7 until the 9 pm funeral service at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Mr. David Hayes will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
