Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Jim, I am so sorry for your loss but it wasn’t just your loss, it was a loss for many people. She was well loved by many and will be remembered for a long, long time. There was no one else like Carmella; she was one of a kind and I pray that she is in a happy place because she loved to smile and laugh and was so kind to so many people. I’ll miss my “bubba”.

  2. To Jimmy, Mike(my dad), Joe, family and friends: Monday was a very difficult day and the next few months are probably gonna be the same. I am so sorry for your loss but do know that I am torn apart inside as well. I will carry guilt within me forever, cause I didn’t take enough of my time to spend with her as I would’ve liked to. Hopefully she will forgive me for that. Life is too short and working 2 jobs makes time go by so quickly and makes one forget about some of the things that are really important like spending time with loved ones. Carmella was the type of person who could befriend anyone. She was beautiful, kind, fun and friendly. She had a very sweet personality and a very loving tone of voice that was addictive to one’s ear. She touched the lives of so many people and she will be sadly missed, never forgotten and always loved and remembered. And to make sure of that, I have created a tribute page for her to allow her legacy to live on, It’s the least I can do. For all family and friends goto: myspace.com/carmellafarran and check out her pictures, post comments and share your memories of her and help her spirit live on. Jimmy, Dad and Joe if you need anything let me know. I love you all very much.

  3. Mikey and family – you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Mikey is a special person and from the tribute to Carmella, I can see that the trait runs in your family. May you be blessed with many happy memories of her.

  4. To Jimmy, Mike(dad), Joe, family and friends: I found out that my Aunt Carmella was taken from us Monday about 8 a.m. to start her new job as an angel in heaven with GOD, while watching over us always. I now know that she is happier now that she got her wings and she can fly. I know that she misses and loves all of us but she doesn’t want us to be upset because she is happy now and will always be in our hearts forever. It hurts me dearly that she has moved on and I will never forget how when she enters a room she brings so much happiness and joy to everybody she meets and knows. When I use to work for AT&T and Comcast, I’ve met 1000’s of people in the Tri-State area and most of them knew Carmella and all of them loved her and said nothing but praise and joy about her and how she touched their lives. I thank GOD for Jimmy, because he did more for Carmella than any of us could and never gave up on her even though her chances were very slim and I pray to GOD to watch over him and all of us to help us cope with this. Carmella was one in a million and I love you and will miss your smile but will never forget you. Also please visit this web page me and my brother created for her: http://www.myspace.com/carmellafarran and post comments and pics about her life. Thank you

  10. Farran Family, I was so sad to hear the news of Carmella. She was my Banquet Manager when I managed the Best Western/HI in Weirton. She was my employee but also a good friend. I remember she loved dogs and had Mai Ling at the time and she also took care of my poodle Brandi. She had a heart of gold and a smile that brighten the room when she entered. We send our sympathy and she will be truely missed. Kelly, Terry and Brandi

  11. Carmella was a lovely spirited beautiful young woman who went to heaven too early. I am honored to have been her friend. She was just a doll. I have many good memories to hold onto. My best friend, Christy Bilby, introduced me to Carmella many years ago. I will never forget Carmella. We both shared a love for animals, especially our beloved dogs. One day outside of Shop n Save, I ran into her. We started talking about our dogs and before you know it, we were crying together, consoling each other with loving words and a goodbye hug. She was just amazing. She got me through a very hard time then. I thank God for her. When I moved away a few years ago, I met a lady named, Zharmen. She looked a lot like Carmella and sounded just like her. She is my hairstylist now. When I finished looking at Carmella’ s my space, I went to sign in on her guest book. I just finished writing the first sentence of this memorial when the phone rang. Guess who it was. It was Zharmen, who happened to call me by mistake. I was in shock. I thought it was Carmella at first because they sound so much alike. I paused, then I just started to cry. I wept for a minute or so, pulled myself together and explained to Zharmen why I began to cry. I truly feel that it was Carmella calling me from Heaven above through my new friend, Zharmen. We ended up crying together. It was such a unbelievable moment. I think Carmella just wanted me to know that she’s okay and resting peacefully up in Heaven with her precious puppies. I think it was her way of saying to me her goodbye’s because I live so far away that I was unable to see her before she passed or attend her memorial. All I can say is WOW!!! I am so glad that Zharmen called the wrong “MICHELLE”! I love you Carmella!!!! Thank you for saying gooodbye to me!! I will miss you always!! Thank the good Lord above that we have our memories and our photographs to charish. I especially would like to thank you for being my friend. Thank you for saying goodbye to me. All my Love and Prayers to you, may you rest in the peaceful loving arms the God for eternity. Just one thing, keep your puppies close. You would not want to have them wander off to another cloud. Heaven is supposed to be a place of peace and serenity. You don’t need to be chasing those dogs all over the place. I love you!! By the way, I don’t know if I ever told you, but you sure know how to pick a husband. Jim is such a wonderful man. I have heard such loving things about him from Christy. I heard that he was always by your side, never leaving you. Now that is truly love. How blessed you are to have met and married a man with such a loving heart. I guess God blessed you both when you met. Carmella, you will always be in my heart as well. I will miss you always!!!!! Friends Forever and Beyond, Michelle Catlett. P.S. Ask God if you can hold a spot for me on a cloud next to you. I know it might be hard, because EVERYBODY is going to want to be by you because you have so many friends and are such a great warm hearted ANGEL !!!! LOVE YOU G I R L !!!!! XX OO XX OO

  17. Its been 3 years since you moved on, and its never been the same here since. I love and miss you very much. I miss your soft hugs, your fresh mint tea, and orange popsicles that always tasted the best. Its 2012 now, and I tried a new sport. It’s basketball, and I think i’m getting better at it. I wonder if your proud of me, i hope so. We all miss and love you so much! I miss you more than anything/one in the world. i would do anything to have you back, you changed so many people’s lives, including mine. sometimes it feels like i lost the left side of me, no one knew me better than you. i wish one day i could have the opportunity to see you one last time. From your death I’ve learned that goodbyes will always hurt, pictures will never replace having been there, memories good or bad will bring tears, && that words can NEVER replace those feelings.
