charles zeigler, jr.
Charles Zeigler, Jr., 75, of Weirton, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010 at his home. Born April 4, 1934 in West Union, WV, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Beulah Kimball Zeigler. Chuck retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a water treatment operator. He was Protestant by faith, a member of the WSX 25-Year Club and Moose Lodge 688. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956. Chuck is survived by his wife Patsy Ann Everett Zeigler, whom he married June 26, 1963; sons Mike Zeigler and his companion Cris and Rodney Zeigler and his wife Cathy; daughter Sherri Logoyda and her husband Mark; brothers Jack Zeigler, Bill Zeigler and his wife Janice, Ray Zeigler and his wife Betty and Tom Zeigler and his wife Roseann; sisters Marcelene Swentzel and her husband Bus, Edna Dettman, Mildred Kush and her husband Walter and Patsy Zeigler; grandchildren Devin, Trevor, Mark Addison, Ceirra and Hunter; brother-in-law Mike Everett and his wife Barb and his faithful companion Shadow. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday. Minister Janet Tournay will officiate. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens where Military Services will be conducted by the American Legion Firing Squad. The Zeigler family would like to thank the guardian angels of Valley Hospice; Teramana Cancer Center; Dr. Gary Hanson; Paul, Hayden and the staff of Penn Way Pharmacy.
