Daniel Anthony “Danny” Warrick the Mayor of Main Street Weirton passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. He was 74 years old.
Danny was born in Steubenville, OH on October 20, 1947, one of eight children born to Clarence and Rose Marie Pete Warrick.
Danny was known as the “Mayor of Main Street” since he worked for Lou Fekaris at the Weirton Bus Terminal. For over thirty years, Danny was the head of operations at the Bus Terminal and the operator of Danny’s Arcade in the 1970’s.
Danny had a love for the people of Weirton, especially his friends in the Greek community.
Danny was baptized and received his sacraments at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Weirton.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy, Charles “Mickey”, James and Thomas, and his sister, Bessie Mae Warrick Rogers.
He will be remembered with love by his brother, Clarence P. “Junior” Warrick (Jeanne); his sister, Mary Margaret Jones (David); his loving aunt, Minnie Pete; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton.
Rev. Fr. Binu Sebastian will preside.
He will be laid to rest at Saint Paul’s Cemetery in Weirton, WV.

My Best Buddy Danny. We went to Erie Lake to have dinner in 1997, we went to Pittsburgh Airport at 2am I think in the 80’s, Danny love to hear Bing Crosby sing the Irish Llullaby, Too ra loo ra loo ra ….. I’ll Miss Danny, “Wolfy”.

Rest peacefully Danny and try not to be too ornery up there. I’m really going to miss you. I can honestly say I’ve known you all my life and not one time have I ever seen you that you didn’t tell me how beautiful I was and remind me how you held me when I was just a baby.
