danny irvin, sr.
Danny Irvin Sr.,57, of Weirton, WV unexpectedly left for his final hunting trip December 19th, 2020. He was born in Weirton on July 29th, 1963, a son of the late Marjorie Rosnick Irvin and Eugene Gray Irvin. Throughout his life he was a passionate sportsman, avid Oakland Raiders fan, and, most of all, an incredibly loving and devoted father, husband, and friend. A lifelong member of Memorial Baptist Church, he was raised in Weirton and graduated from Weir High School in 1981. He was employed with Ball Corporation for 28 years alongside his best friend, Ray McNeely, retiring in 2016. He found so much joy in gardening and giving away his prized tomatoes to friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting, cooking, fishing, and vacationing with his family and friends at Indian Creek Resort & Campground at Geneva on the Lake. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many other relatives. He is survived by his wife & high school sweetheart, Talisa Irvin; children Alexis Irvin (Colin), Danny Irvin (Camille), and Aleta Ann. Also surviving are his brother Eugene Irvin Jr. (Susan); niece Melissa Heyer (Cody), nephew John Ryan, and great nephew Henry Heyer; Aunt Maryann Elliott (Harold) and Uncle Paul “Sonny” Rosnick (Roberta); cousins Karen Leeson (Russell) and Ricky Figlioli (Melissa). Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life on Wednesday, December 23rd, from 2pm - 6pm at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home in Weirton.   9. I will never forget Dan driving around the campground with their golf cart,as he drove past my camper I said hey Dan whose that,he said my girlfriend. Sitting beside him on the golf cart was Skippys dog Mocha! Loved having him and his family as my campground neighbors. He will certainly be missed Prayers to Talisa and family with loving hugs.
