Daphne Marie O’Hara Bludis, 51, of Weirton, died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at her residence. She was born on May 17, 1951 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Terrance O’Hara and Ruth (Snyder) O’Hara.
Daphne was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Aimee Bludis of Weirton; one brother, Thomas Roe of Hopedale, OH; and one grandson, Joshua M. Kolling of Weirton.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday with Pastor Denver Boyd presiding. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

I was so very sorry to hear the sad news about Daphne. As children we lived 2 houses apart from each other on Courtland Road and were playmates until my family moved to Florida when I was 10 and Daphne would have been 7. My Uncle still lives in Weirton and informed me of Daphne’s passing. I was sorry to find out also that Ruth and Terry have passed away. I remember Ruth was a nurse and would give me shots at her house for a problem I had at one time. She also helped when I had my arm in a sling! Please accept my sincere condolences.
