David Lee Skinner, 82, of Kodiak, Alaska, formerly of Weirton, passed away on January 4, 2012 on Kodiak Island, Alaska. Born April 11, 1929 in Wintersville, OH, he was the son of the late Ralph W. and Loretta Shepherd Skinner. David is survived by his son Mark Skinner and his wife Michele of Kodiak, Alaska; daughter Kim Skinner of Colorado Springs, CO; brother Richard Skinner and his wife Carol of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister JoAnn Rahn of Columbus, IN and grandson Aidan Skinner of Kodiak. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Larry Dorsch officiating. Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
