Delores J. Newbrough, 76, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born August 29, 1929 in Clarksburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Dick and Stella Gerrard Hyatt. Delores was also preceded in death by her son James Newbrough and grandson James Newbrough, Jr. Delores was a homemaker. She was an avid gardener who loved the outdoors, playing cards, bingo and was a doting mother and grandmother. Delores’ survivors include her husband Robert H. Newbrough of Weirton whom she married August 20, 1949; sons Robert H. Newbrough, Jr. and his wife Marcia and Jack Newbrough; daughter Rosanne Morgan and her husband Jim all of Weirton; sisters Nancy Smith of LaCrescenta, CA and Toby Cottrill of Bridgeport, WV; step-sister Donnie Ash of Clarksburg, WV and cousin Anne Johnson who resided with her for 50 years; six grandchildren Eric Newbrough, Rachel Ohalek, Ted Newbrough, Anthony Newbrough, Patrick Landis and Joshua Cassella and one great-grandson Dillan Ohalek. The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 10AM until 12:00PM funeral services with Reverend Father Alfred Obiudu presiding.
