dominick diclemente
Dominick DiClemente, 88, of Weirton passed away November 4, 2006 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born July 30, 1918 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Zelindo and Altivila Corpa DiClemente. Three brothers and one sister also preceded him in death. Dominick was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Weirton, the American Legion, the VFW, the Weirton Masonic Temple, the Scottish Rite and the Shriners. He served his country during WWII in the US Army and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and three Bronze Stars. He retired from National Steel with 23 years service and was administrator of the Industrial Engineers Department. He is survived by his wife Margaret Pinter DiClemente of Weirton; son John DiClemente and his wife Gwynne Kennedy of Milwaukee, WIS; daughter Lyn Boyer of Birmingham, ALA; and grandsons, Will DiClemente, Carey and Brendan Boyer. Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton. He will lie in state on Tuesday from 10-11AM the time of service at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Weirton. Pastor Sharon Van Dam will officiate. Entombment will be at Highland Hills Mausoleum, Follansbee, WV.
