Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I had the privilege of working in the OR with Doug regularly at Mercy Health. He had an amazing spirit. Doug was so good with his patients and clearly loved being a nurse anesthetist. He loved his family and pets and shared photos of them with me often! I remember laughing with him a lot. I am so saddened to hear this news. Rest in heaven Doug. I am praying for his family. Betsy Kluge RN Lima, OH

  2. I want to express my deepest sympathies to the families and friends on the sudden loss of Douglass Lee Jackson. He was the best colleague a person can ask for and an inspiring member of our anesthesia team. He was always very: supportive, flexible, eager, honest, knowledgeable, hardworking and motivating. With his presence, he would light us all up and operating room with positivity. He would always place his patients and colleagues before himself and willingly staying late at work, which is such a rare quality to find. In such a short span of his association with me, I found myself extremely fortunate to have a chance to know him, to work with him and to share some beautiful memories with him. It was truly an honor for me to have a colleague like him who was like a family at work. Love ❤️ Teteisha Pearson CRNA

  3. Tina, Greg and Jessica- Please know that the good times we shared with you will forever be etched in my soul. May the bond you shared with Doug give you peace and the memories you shared take you through this next stage of your lives! Please know that Doug is at rest now with Toni! Luke Miller

  4. Hi, Pat. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family for the sudden loss of your partner, Douglas. It is hard to come up with any words to try and comfort you at this difficult time. Just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Bob and Linda Hoge.

  5. I am truly saddened at the loss of my childhood next door neighbor and friend. I can remember many times playing with Doug during the summer. We would play outside until the streetlights came on and we heard our parents calling for us. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all. My prayers are with his family during this awful time.

  6. Dear Patrick and family, We are all so saddened by the passing of Big Doug. The neighborhood will truly miss his larger-than-life personality! May your many loving memories of Doug give you a reason to smile for many years until you one day meet again. Our sincere sympathies to all. Barbie and Gary

  7. Pat and family..you have my deepest and most sincere condolences for your loss. I worked with Doug at Trinity many years ago in the ER. He was always making us laugh. When he told the story of being fired from Disney World I laughed so hard I cried. He was so animated with his description of Disney’s security scraping off his parking pass. He loved children and was always compassionate with his patients. He was supportive of a single mom and how hard she had to work and the time she put into her family. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. May you find comfort in knowing what a great man he was through all the memories you have.

  8. I’m so sorry for your loss Patrick. Doug was very nice and a great anesthetist and friend. Love and prayers Marsha Wilson ( worked with Doug at O’Bleness)
