Edward M. Warzynski, 88, of Weirton, WV, died Friday, February 17, 2017, at Valley Hospice Care Center West in Steubenville, OH. Born January 23, 1929, in Weirton, WV, he was a son of the late Maciey and Mary Ann Mul Warzynski. He was also preceded in death by his son Michael Warzinski in 2014, brother Ted (Theresa) Warzynski, and sisters Rose Pelesky and Laura Drizmala. Edward retired from Weirton Steel as a motor inspector after 40 years of service. He served in the United States Marines, was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Church, Knights of Columbus 3734, K of C Fourth Degree Assembly, where he served as Grand Knight and then the District Grand Knight, VFW Post 2716, and was a past President of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. He was also instrumental in assisting with creating the Marine Corp Club in Weirton. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Stenda) Warzynski; daughters Susan Latimer of Weirton and Lisa Green (Nick) of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren Stacey Moore (Wesley), Christopher Warzinski and John Latimer; great granddaughter Lillian Moore, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday 6-8 pm at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am. Father Anthony G. Thurston will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Animal Shelter, 715 Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland, WV 26047.   11. I am sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. Anyone who knew Ed enjoyed his company. I will always remember him and his great sense of humor. Ed is the only person I have ever met that was both a member of the Knights of Columbus and of the Mason’s. It has been a pleasure to have known Ed.
