Edwina M. "Winnie" Kinda, 88, of Weirton, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 12, 2011. She was born on August 12, 1922 in Millsboro, PA, a daughter of the late Alexander Torrence and Martha Crago Torrence. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Moses Kinda on June 2, 1995; a great granddaughter, Nevaeh Brown; three brothers, Samuel Ray and Roy Torrence; three sisters, Goldie Cline, Kathryn Blake and Evelyn Dawson. A homemaker, Winnie previously worked during World War II as a Welder with the Dravo Company in Neville, Island, PA. She formerly was a member of the Weirton Christian Center's Mother's Club, and the Hancock County Senior Center. She is survived by her son, John L. "Stretch" Kinda and his wife Barb of Brilliant, OH; three daughters, Elizabeth "Betsy" Brown, Roberta "Bobbie" Dulaney and her husband Ronnie all of Weirton, WV, Paulette A. Frank and her husband, Dennis of Colliers, WV; four grandchildren, Angel, David, Brandy, and Zac; two great grandchildren, Mandi and Jessi. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday. Pastor Lynn Yeso will preside.   7. I will miss Winnie and her wonderful smile she shared everytime I saw her. I enjoyed her at the Tenants Club Dinners and when she could not join us, I had the privilege of taking the dinner to her room. She and her kitty were always waiting. I’ve only known her for two years, but I will miss her. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God called a beautiful lady home. She will be missed!
