Elnora L. Baltich, 87, of Weirton, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Inn at Wyngate. She was born April 6, 1928 in New Cumberland, WV, a daughter of the late Elwood and Ida (Matchett) Mellott. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, whom she dearly missed, Dan Baltich, two brothers Harold and Howard Mellott and her two sisters Darlene Bradley and Alnetta Thompson. Elnora was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and reading. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Weirton. She was an amazing, kind and caring mother to her three children and they are honored to have had a mother and father that were such great role models. She is survived by her three children Mark Baltich of Weirton, Kimberly Moore of Birmingham, Alabama and Lori Baltich of Weirton. She also leaves behind her beloved little dog Riley Rosebud. Should anyone wish to honor such a caring and compassionate woman there is a simple way. You can make a contribution in her memory to the Brooke County Animal Shelter, 797 Mac Barnes Dr., Wellsburg, WV 26070, towards the care of the homeless animals that are waiting to find their way home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Inn at Wyngate who treated their mother like family and for their phenomenal care that went above and beyond all possible expectations.   7. Mark, Lori, and Kim…So very sorry for the passing of your mother. I never knew her, but your cousin Sissy always spoke VERY highly of her to me when we worked together at the Health Department. Just remember that she is now with her husband again, and celebrating with her heavenly father. I’m sure she will be missed by all, but let’s be happy of her passing to her goal in heaven.
