Fannie (Deligiannis) Monski, 81, of Weirton passed away Sunday May 25, 2008, at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit in Steubenville, Ohio.
Fannie was born on June 14, 1926, in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late John and Aristea (Mahera) Deligiannis. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Joseph Monski.
She is survived by her two sons, David "Stanley" (Penny) Monski of Colliers, WV and John (Cynthia) Monski of Weirton, WV; her daughters, Patricia Monski, Denise and Louis Kolar and Mary Ann Monski all of Weirton, Joyce and James Pannett of Colliers, WV; her brother, Nick Deligiannis of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Stacia Deligiannis and Patricia Angelo both of Weirton and five grandchildren.
The visitation will be Tuesday 8:30 AM until 9:30AM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10AM Tuesday at the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.
Interment will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery.

i only knew fannie for a week,but will remember her always, she was a great room mate at trinity and i was glad to help her in any way i could,wish i could have done more. i am sure she had many wonderful times in her life and hope you will remember them more than the bad times. my thoughts and prayers are with you.

She is a very special person, What she did for famly & freinds , the love and happines she shared, by noing about you are the food she cooked and that smile she gave you.All throw the year . Just remember not, how you lost someone. but what she did for ever one in her life. and today i still do.
My condolence to the family. She raised fine children and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
