Frances Guzzo

Frances Guzzo, 92, of Lewis Center, OH, formerly of Weirton, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at her home. She was born February 8, 1925 in Weirton, a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Patti Mangano. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Guzzo, brothers Joe and Louie Mangano and sisters Catherine Colianni, Betty Klein and Antoinette Mangano.
Frances was a homemaker, having dedicated her life to her family, children and grandchildren and was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons Joe (Cheryl) Guzzo of New Cumberland, WV and Paul (Sandy) Guzzo of Weirton; daughters Luann Guzzo of Columbus, OH and Catherine “Kitty” Stevens of California; sisters Anna Mangano of New Galilee, PA and Virginia Gawelski of Beaver Falls, PA; grandchildren Melissa (Chuck) Dulaney, Mark Guzzo, Megan (Anthony) Guzzo, Jeremy (Jennifer) Frantz and William (Wendy) Frantz; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Father Joe Konikattil will officiate.
Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
