Gretchen Ann "Ann" Kokenos, 57, of Weirton died Saturday December 31, 2011, at the Lifeline Hospital, Wintersville, OH. Born May 25, 1954 in Weirton, WV, Ann was a daughter of the late Charles Herman and Margaret M. Pethtel Hall. She was also preceded in death by her sister Sandy. Ann was a homemaker who enjoyed trading on E Bay, and refinishing antiques. She loved her tools and toys, and found pleasure working in her yard. She was a member of the AARP. She is survived by her husband, Michael S. Kokenos, whom she married on July 25, 2005; her three daughters, Renee Daniels of Burleson, TX, Christina (Rex) Thomas of Gauley Bridge, WV, and Elizabeth Coffey of Huntington, WV; a brother, Chuck; four sisters, Linda, Crystal, Vala, and Cindy; four grandchildren, Shey Daniels, Ashli Loy, Isiah and Danyca Thomas. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-9 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 7 PM during the visitation. Rev. Larry Barkley and Margie Zellars will preside. Interment will be private at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.   8. I met Mrs. Kokenos when she came to the WGC. I didn’t know her that long but she touched my heart. She will truly be missed. I’m so sorry I didn’t get to come to the funeral home to see her, and I’m so very sorry for your loss.
