Helen Jeffe

Helen Jeffe, 93, of Weirton passed away on Saturday December 6, 2014. Born on August 13, 1921, in McKinleyville, WV, Helen was a daughter of the late Maxim and Mary Scivinsky Kamarec. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wallace J. Jeffe , Sr.on March 20, 2002; her son, Frank Wallace Jeffe; her brothers, John, Andrew, Charles, Joseph, Frank, Paul and Steven Kamarec; and her sisters, Anna Glover, Mary Yacos, Evelyn Matijevich, and Esther Kamarec. A real estate agent, Helen also worked part time, as a receptionist, at the Hancock County Courthouse. An author of her own book, Helen loved to cook, work in her garden, write songs, vacation with family and was known to play a great hand of poker. But most of all, Helen will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed sharing her talented singing voice with friends and family. She was a member of the Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church in Weirton. She will be sadly missed by her son, Wallace "Wuz" Jeffe, Jr. and his fiance Susan of Weirton her daughter, Barbara Willets and her husband Ken of Mount Airy, MD; her grandchildren, Kathy, Mark, Dean, Kristen, Jason and Sarah, and great grandchildren, Mikalia, Grace, Connor, Liam, Xavier, Tayilah, Ben, Lane, and Frank. Her visitation and funeral will be private. Interment will follow at Saint Nicholas Cemetery in Weirton, WV.
