I remember Uncle Howard giving all us kids haircuts. He would always tell me he was giving me a “John Fox”, which was a close cut all over except for a hank in front that I could comb over. He would also run the clippers over the top of my ear and tell me he was cutting off a piece for the crow. When we would go down to Camp Run, sometimes Grandpa would call the sheep by shouting “Sheepie”, and I was always fascinated when they would answer him going “Ba-a-a”. I would echo that when I was little. One day Uncle Howard hollered “Sheepie” at me, and I just automatically answered, “Ba-a-a”. He really cracked up whenever I did that. I’ll miss him.
Patricia, The Lord will help you during this time of sorrow. You and your family are in my prayers.
