Irvin George Gross Jr., of Weirton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

He was born on August 22, 1978, in Ashtabula, OH, to Irvin and Cheryl Gross.

Irv was a 1996 graduate of Weir High School, attended West Virginia University, and was a proud member of the United States Army.

Irv was such a fun-loving guy. He had a big heart, a great sense of humor, a quick wit, and his compassionate ways resonated with everyone who knew him. He had a great love for football and looked forward to the season every year. But the greatest joy of his life came with the birth of his son, Myles.

Survivors include his parents, Irvin and Cheryl Gross of Weirton; a son, Myles Gross and his former wife Michelle Bell both of Cochranton, PA.; his two sisters Jackie Bowe (Bryan) and Jill Utt (Larry) of Weirton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Amy Gross.

A celebration of Irv’s life will be held at a later date.

  8. Candle Selection 3To Little Irvy, you were so cute when you were a baby I remember you staying with us when you were probably 18 month or older. You had Bambam baby bottle.. you wanted juice in it and got made when Shawn and I tried to rinse the milk out of it first. You went with us to My other Grandparents house and ran around in the yard playing. I remember you playing superhero in your underwear and a blanket/ Cape 😁 Your sisters and I never took your ice cream truck money 😜😁🤣. I love you and know that you will watch over your Mom Dad and Baby boy❣️ Love your cousin Heather and all my family 🙏
