  1. I was so sorry to hear about the death of James Hammond. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. And all the good things people say do not take that pain away. When I lost my mother to Cancer, it was very devastating to me. What comforted me are the words found in the Bible for the future at Revelation 21:3, 4 and Isaiah 33:24 about our dear loved ones. May these also bring you comfort. Deepest Sympathy, Ms. Floyd

  2. hammond family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. will always remember him as pillar in the church. sincerely, jerry and carl hamill

  3. Do, please, accept our deep sympathy in Jim’s death. How I will miss our almost daily wave – and his smile – as we walked by to see Jim on the front porch during the warm months each year. And of course for years we knew him as an active church member and usher. We’ll miss him.
