James M. Coen, 49, of Weirton passed away Friday, June 27, 2008 at his residence. Born July 5, 1958, in Weirton, WV, he was the son of the late James (Haney) P. and Mary Scarfo Coen. James retired from the Weirton Steel Company with 24 years of service as a crane operator at the BOP, and was currently employed by Stark Van Lines as an Elite delivery driver. He was a member in the Life of the Word Ministry Church in Steubenville, OH. James is survived by his children Michael Coen of Weirton, April Coen of New York, NY, and their mother Linda Coen of Weirton; Brother Bill Coen of Weirton and sister Janine Szymanski and her husband David of Gibsonia, PA; and his niece Taylor Szymanski. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Wednesday in the funeral home.
