James R. Williamson, 90, of Weirton passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born on February 14, 1917 in Midway, PA, the son of the late George and Alma Milne Williamson. James was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Fay Sergi Williamson on May 13, 2004, and three brothers, Dale, George (Bud), and Jack Williamson, and his sister, Peggy Douglas. James retired after over 40 years of service as a conductor on the Penn Central and Conrail Railroad. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weirton, the Masonic Lodge #0297, member of the Scottish Rite, and a Life Member of the Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh. James is survived by his five daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Bill Crum, Susan and Terry Collins, Peggy and Doug Hall, Cindy and Les Bakos, and Melissa and Dan Karas; his sister, Helen Ermiles; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday. Rev. Donald Dague will preside.
