Joanne Marcella Mastroianni, of Weirton, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, September 1, 2025. Born on August 21, 1936, in Steubenville, she was a beloved daughter of Stanley and Eleanor (Humienny) Mieczkowski.
A member of the Catholic Central High School graduating class of 1954, Joanne dedicated over twenty years of her life to serving the community as a retail clerk at Denmark’s. Her faith was nourished at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church.
On August 31, 1957, Joanne married Mr. Angelo Mastroianni, with whom she shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Joanne was known for her passion for cooking and baking, traits that endeared her to family and friends alike. She delighted in tending to her flowers and the beauty of her yard, finding peace and happiness in each bloom.
A devoted grandmother, Joanne, cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, making countless memories throughout all of their activities. Joanne also looked forward to her weekly BINGO games, where she would share laughter and camaraderie with friends.
Joanne’s warmth and kindness will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
