John "Hoppy" Bain, 73, of Follansbee, WV died Friday November 20, 2009 in Cannonsburg, PA. Hoppy was born on October 27, 1936, in Midway, PA, a son of the late Law and Ruth Sawhill Bain. He retired after 25 years of service as a truck driver with Weir Cove Moving and Storage. Hoppy served his country from 1955 until 1957 in the United States Army. He was a member of the Saint John's Episcopal Church, Follansbee, the Teamsters and the Loyal Order of the Moose lodge 688. In his free time, Hoppy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, C. Jane (Wells) Bain; his three sons, Terry Allen Bain, and his wife Tammy, John Michael Bain and Timothy Law Bain; a daughter, Susan Cable and her husband Butch all of Midway, PA; step sons, Joseph Coffee, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Medina, OH, James Coffee and his wife Terri of Newton Falls, OH, and Tony Coffee of Las Vegas, NV; a step daughter, Teresa Simpson of Medina, OH; a very special friend, Rick Arbogast of Weirton; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-7PM Tuesday at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held at 7PM. The Reverend Eugene Sheppard will preside.
