Alex and Georgia, We are so sorry to hear of John’s passing. Your family’s love and dedication to each other has always been an inspiration to us. We will always remember John’s soft-spoken manner and big smile. Most of all we will remember how obviously proud he was of his family. You all,as well as John will be in our prayers. Alex, we love you and think of you often. We hope to see you again soon. Our deepest sympathy, The Cassidys
My dearest Georgia, I hardly know what to say to you and your family at this time. “Sorry” seems such an overused word – but I AM sorry and my heart aches for you and for your family and freinds. John fought a long hard battle and you were there with him every step of the way. You and I go back almost 50 years now – to kids in John Morrow Grade School and then all though Oliver High School. I treasure your freindship more than you will ever know. I pray that God, whom we both know is always in control and never abandons us, will take you in His ever so capable arms and comfort you, love you and give you all the strength you need at this time. You have the assurance that someday you will be with John again – eternity is forever. I wish I could be there with you right now – to hug you and brush away a tear – but know that my heart IS there – and my love. I know you can feel it. You will always be MY “special angel”. Steffi
Dear Georgia & Family: We felt deep sorrow to read of the passing of John. He was always such a loving and fun person to be with. His love for his family could always be seen for he carried it in his heart. The pride he had in each and every one of his childern was ever so evident when you would ask him about any one of them. Georgia, you always were a good, loving wife who took such good care of every one, in your church, your home and especisly John. This is surely a man in heaven today who will look down and take care of all of you now even better than he did when he was here. I know your loss is felt very deeply by Nick & Pearl who have such a special relationship with your family and have spoken so lovingly of John so mamy times. May the graces of God shine upon you in this most trying of times. Love and Prayers D.J. & Shay Minella
Dear Georgia, Please know that your entire family is in my prayers at this most difficult times in your life. I did not know your husband, but I pray that God will one day grant me that privilege. Some months ago, Deacon Ryan informed me of John’s condition and from that day I remembered him in my daily prayers. Please now that I shall now add his name to those whom I remember at every proskomidi I celebrate throughout my priesthood. You are in my family’s prayers as we ask God to rest John’s soul among the righteous. May his memory be eternal! Presbyter Michael H. Kontos, Jr., Economos Annunciation Cathedral Columbus, OH

Dear Georgia, It took me this long to send a note. Probably because it was hard to imagine what you were dealing with. It’s a far cry from our time on Brightway, when our children were young. I want you to know that I send my love to you and your family as I ask God to give you comfort at this most difficult time. Love, Barb
