Karen Lynn Skidmore, 26, of Weirton, WV died Saturday September 20, 2003, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on November 16, 1976, in Weirton, WV, the daughter of Carl and Karol Orth Skidmore of Weirton, WV. Karen was formerly employed as a clerk at the Shop N Save in Imperial, PA. She was a member of the Weir High Class of 1995. Surviving in addition to her parents are her son, Alex Skidmore; her sister, Carla Skidmore; her maternal grandmother, Edna Orth; her paternal grandfather Robert Skidmore Sr. her friend, William Frantz all of Weirton, WV. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton where funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday. Entombment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.   6. Karol & Carl, Was so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing,we were out of town and did not find out till this week. Whatever you do, do not stop talking, laughing, or crying over Karen,as you proberly know we lost our oldest son in 95 at the age of 32, we still laugh and cry. It does help.
