Leila V. Doderick

Leila V. Doderick, 75, died Friday, May 11, 2001, at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born on July 14, 1925 in Elwood City, Pa, daughter of the late William H. and Lydia A. Rennick Bixler. Her husband Nicholas Doderick, a sister Violet E. Weekly and a brother Leroy J. Bixler preceded her in death. Leila was retired and was a former employee of Weirton Denmark’s and the Kmart. She was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Weirton, WV. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Karen Doderick Watson, of Kennesaw, Ga., and a sister Mrs. Alfred Marjorie P, Bulkowski. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV. Leila will lie in state on Tuesday, 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1491 Cove Road, Weirton, WV. Internment will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens.
