Leonard Edward Fedoush, 86, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Acuity Specialty Hospital of Ohio Valley, Weirton. Born October 31, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA, Leonard was a son of the late Michael and Pauline Holinda Fedoush. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lenna Marie Fedoush in 2014 and a son, Paul E. Fedoush in 2013. After serving his country in the United States Army, Leonard went to work for Weirton Steel as an electrical engineer. After several years of service, Leonard retired from Weirton Steel and soon went on to enjoy his many hobbies and past times which included golfing, bowling, making wine, and watching and cheering on the Pirates, the Steelers, and the Pens. His favorite and proudest moments were spent watching his grandsons play and excel in soccer. Leonard is survived by a son, Robert "Bob" Fedoush (Roberta) of Weirton; brother, Richard Fedoush (Barb) of Lower Burrell, PA; sister, Patricia Nagy (Jim) of Cheswick, PA; grandsons, Jonathon and Benjamin Fedoush both of Weirton; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 4-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 10AM on Wednesday with Rev. Kevin Bowers officiating. Entombment will follow at the St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum, Weirton. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Leonard should be made to the BPOE Elks Charities, 3429 Main St., Weirton, WV 26062 or the Weirton Medical Center Auxiliary, 601 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062.
