We announce the passing of Lisa Kay (Connell) Dahl, age 61, of Weirton, West Virginia, who departed this life on March 11, 2026. Born on August 3, 1964, in Weirton, Lisa was a beloved sister, and friend.
A proud graduate with an associate’s degree, Lisa dedicated her life to the noble profession of nursing, serving as a traveling nurse. Her compassionate nature toward her patients illuminated the lives of all those she encountered. Lisa possessed an innate ability to fill any room with joy; her vibrant spirit could brighten even the darkest of days. Her crafty talents and love for travel showcased her adventurous soul, as she embraced the world with open arms.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Robert S. Connell, and her mother, Mary I. Connell.
Lisa is survived by her dear sister, Diane L. Kile, of Villa Hills, KY, and her brother, Ronald K. Connell, of O’Fallon, MO, both who will cherish her memory and hold her spirit close in their hearts.
Lisa shared a relationship with Don Perkins for the past three years, and she was truly the love of his life. Together, they enjoyed the simple pleasures of nature and picnics, cherished car rides, and the excitement of attending Steelers games. Their shared love of movies, antique shopping, and live music created memories that will forever echo in their hearts.
Though Lisa has left this world, her legacy of kindness, vibrancy, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Following her wishes, Lisa will be cremated with no formal services scheduled at this time. Her cremation will be under the care of the onsite crematory at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, at 3219 Main Street, Weirton.

To Lisa’s loving family and Donnie, I am so very sorry to hear of Lisa’s passing. She was a very big part of my life for many years. I have so many wonderful memories that I will treasure forever as she was one of my very best friends. Her joyful spirit will be missed by many.
Lisa had the gentlest spirit and the most unforgettable giggle—one that could brighten any space. I feel incredibly lucky to have known her and to have shared those years, those memories, and that friendship.
